Prayer

Prayer is the connection to deity, to ones higher self, to the universe. It is meditation. It is finding the peace and calm needed to be centered during a ritual. Hold the needle, tap out any bubbles, steady your hands, find a patch of skin, and take a deep breath. This inhale is my prayer, my brief moment of contact with my trans divinity. It is the moment of calm I try to find amidst the anxiety of self injection.
